Olivia Love comes from a wealthy and powerful family. In this book we meet Carter and Olivia, who, at first, couldn't be more different! But sometimes people can surprise you! This is the first book of the Lost And Found series, but it can also be read as a standalone. I could not continue, it was pure torture. HOW? How am I supposed to believe that a grown ass man talks like that? Especially since from the synopsis we are led to believe he is "the montain man" and from a romance standpoint a mountain man is not just a man that lives in the mountain but a rough, savage man, a manly-man (for lack of better words, sorry I don't have a lot of english vocabulary).Īnd the book is riddle with examples like these. "Who in THE FUDGE-PACKING fudgsicles is this," What the fuck is this story? Is it supposed to be funny?Īnother one this time from the mountain man: My thoughts following this sentence consisted of a lot of questioning: WHAT? Why? I don't understand what i'm reading. But there would be splinters and that wouldn't be fun" "If I could make out - using tongue, of course - with this door, I would. The caracters were really childish and the author was trying really hard to be funny but it was a huge flop on my end. There's so many great ratings about this book, I don't understand, have I read the same book as everyone else? The synopsis was good and got me excited however the realisation was poorly executed. But in this case it was so bad I don't think it could have gotten better. I usually don't rate a book if I haven't read close to half of it.
